READING THE PSALMS

Dear Friends,

In January-February, I read the book, Life Together, by Dietrich Bonhoeffer. He placed a great emphasis on reading the Psalms, and he would have his seminary students read through the entire book of Psalms in a week, every week. If you are up for an interesting Bible reading challenge of getting into the habit of reading the entire Psalms in a week (or maybe just trying it one week), then here are a couple of different ways you could do it. I'd be curious to know if any of you try this and how it goes for you!

Sunday: Psalms 1-26
Monday: Psalms 27-47
Tuesday: Psalms 48-70
Wednesday: Psalms 71-88
Thursday: Psalms 89-106
Friday: Psalms 107-119
Saturday: Psalms 120-150

Morning Psalms
Sunday: Psalms 1-13
Monday: Psalms 27-37
Tuesday: Psalms 48-59
Wednesday: Psalms 71-79
Thursday: Psalms 89-97

Evening Psalms
